This kit contains the two-piece articulated piston with steel piston crowns part# 1807351 or 1807352.

These pistons have a closed crown gallery.

For years, engine rebuilders and engine owners have been forced to deal with only one source on newer applications utilizing articulated, steel crown/aluminum skirt two-piece pistons. After years of development and testing, IPD has introduced IPDSteel articulated cast steel pistons for applications such as the Caterpiller® 3400 and C15 series.
